Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can increase the power of a piece of gear and sometimes even its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements and how many random augmentations are made available.
For instance, the premium shield for racial discrimination Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb ability in PvP, or to add additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the perfect non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens permit you to buy a new item, like an armor, weapon or ring. The item is replaced by another item of the same type, but with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. They don't maintain the original item's level and any money wasted won't get compensated.
Survivors may acquire reroll tokens through several means such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates, or purchased from the store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attribute of a piece equipment such as increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can roll equipment with three categories: physical power, spell power, and health. Upgrades to physical power boost the damage caused by weapons and melee attack while upgrades to spell power boost mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades give the player an additional level of health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available in three categories: upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade takes an item to a higher quality and requires a higher-level reroll token in order to make it. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
In contrast to other special tokens and markers placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains on the space until the next success result is rerolled. This allows you to save upgrades.
Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase and are opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened they will display a complete description and the icon of the relevant appliance or ingredient. The restaurant's shop will trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.
During the course of an event, blueprints may be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to chosen Franchise Cards. More hints changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop sells for rerolls and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons and armor, as well as accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones which increase the level of an item by increasing its stats or attributes. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by completing daily contracts.
To upgrade gear players first need to identify the appropriate item, and then click the "level up" button. This will display a list of the item's current level and what it will be after being leveled-up. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones needed to accomplish this. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone.
After deciding on what to upgrade, players must then select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. When the requirements are met, the player can then click on the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will raise the item's level by a specific percentage. The upgrade process can take between a few seconds and minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is risk-free and will not impact the durability of the item. It's a great way for players who want to get an edge in battle but don't want strain their wallets. By clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer their experience and progress of an upgraded piece of gear onto a new piece of gear.
For new players, it can be difficult to acquire Growth Stones. However, there are many methods to obtain these stones, such as completing contracts and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. In addition players can cut down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that lets you increase the effectiveness of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. It's done by combining an item with upgrades at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume upgrade materials and give the item a higher level, granting the item a boost in the area. This process can continue until the item is at its highest level.
Items with upgraded base stats will display a blue icon in their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components cannot be stacked with each other, but can only be added to a single item at one time. Furthermore each upgrade component will require a particular quantity of items to be used in addition to an initial amount for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can choose to add an item to be upgraded. On the right, an image of the gear looks like at its next level. Once a player has enough materials by pressing the yellow arrow, it will start the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its base stats will be increased by a small amount. item upgrading of an item is 19.
When an item is at its maximum capacity, it will no longer have the option of upgrading. When an item attains a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades for that track will have discounted prices.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can slot into armors, weapons trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons in order to provide an additional benefit or bonus while the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be swapped with new ones. However, this will destroy the old upgrade.
Requirements
Upgrades to items give players the ability to boost certain stats of weapons and armor that they currently own. The requirements for upgrading an item differ based on the item type, but typically you'll need Dilithium as well as a few Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).
The items can be upgraded by adding item upgrade components to equipment and weapons. This gives them more effects or an improved level of the item. These upgrades can come from a variety of sources, including crafting, buying from the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component has been placed into an object, it cannot be removed or replaced. However, glyphs can be swapped freely.
Upgrades can increase the Mark Level of an item or Rarity. Additionally, some upgrade components include additional modifiers which can further increase the stats of an item.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and adds an extra 20% chance to block. Additionally the dps enhancement "Wildfire" increases damage to weapons.
Certain items benefit from being upgraded less for their increased stats, but more for the fact that it lets players get the maximum amount of value from a flawless roll on the item. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for instance is highly coveted by the melee PvP communities and can be worth as much as 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.
The game will show you the requirements when you select the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. This includes the type of item (either Armor or Weapon) the level of the item, the upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.

If you've fulfilled the requirements for upgrading, the game will place the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will change to show how close to completing the upgrade. You can also track the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
